After a successful era of Cyberpunk, everyone is waiting for CD Projekt Red to release the second part of the video game, titled ‘Phantom Liberty’
Along with the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, Phantom Liberty, there is tremendous anticipation for Patch 2.0. The devs have promised to offer innovative enhancements that will completely transform the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay experience.
Even if you do not intend to purchase the expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a large free update with a variety of core experience modifications.
Cyberpunk Upadte 2.0 Release Date
CD Project Red has officially announced the release date of Update 2.0 with the latest Night City Wire showcase! The free update will be available on September 21, just five days before the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Cyberpunk Update 2.0: Added Features
These are all verified free Patch 2.0 features; you’ll get them even if you don’t buy the upcoming DLC “Phantom Liberty.”
- Overhaul from the Skill System;
- New Weapon and Loot System;
- Revamping of the Cop System;
- Overhaul from MaxTac;
- Vehicle-to-Vehicle combat;
- More open-world activities;
- A new and updated combat system;
- New Skill Tree;
- Redesigned Perks;
- New Items, Weapons, Cyberware and Fashion;
- New radio stations with the community radio show “Growl FM” included;
- Combat AI improvements;
- Users who implant too much cyberware can suffer from a condition called cyberpsychosis.
The term “cyberpsychosis” was first used in the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunner. Depression, apathy, hallucinations, and rapid increases in compulsive habits such as gambling are all possible negative effects of cyberware.
With this added to the game, more players will be leery of employing cyberwares, but it will add a wonderful aspect of danger. Personally, I believe that this is one of the nicest changes in the game.
You must carefully select cyberware that matches your playstyle and keep in mind that it may have significant side effects. If they implement this as well as they did in the anime, things will be both exciting and beautiful!
CD Project RED promises a comprehensive reworking of the game’s setting and mechanics with Patch 2.0. If you were one of the gamers who devoured the entire game in the first few weeks following its official release (like I was), you’ll have a lot to explore with the impending update.
