Indian squad
Indian Cricket Board announced the WTC final squad on 25th April where they have announced a 15 men squad for the finals. The big story from the announcement was Ajinkya Rahane’s return to the Indian test team in place of Shreyas Iyer. BCCI did not ignore his current form in IPL 2023 and they have chosen him for his experience in those conditions. Shardul Thakur is also back in the team; he did great last time when India visited England for a test series. Some big names who will miss the final for India are Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and Shreyas Iyer.

Australia Squad
Australia will play WTC on 7th June against India in England then they will play Ashes against England in England which will start from 16th June. Australia has announced a combined squad for the WTC final and first two Ashes tests. The big story from their squad is David Warner has again been given a chance in the Australian test team. Warner is not having a great run-in test in the past few years but Australian selectors have shown faith in him.
