Lucknow’s right-arm medium fast bowler, Yash Thakur made his IPL debut in Jaipur against Rajasthan Royals. Lucknow’s bowling was looking weak after Mark Wood and Avesh Khan left but their young bowlers like Yash Thakur, Mayank Yadav, and Mohsin Khan stepped up for them and doing great for their team. Last night they registered a win against a strong Chennai side. 25-year-old Thakur plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket. He was born in Kolkata. Now the question is if he can play for India in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup or not.
To be honest Yash Thakur’s chance of playing for India is not looking great as the 25-year-old bowler does not have that fire and pace in his bowling.
