Rehan Ahmed is an English cricketer. He was born on 13 th August in 2004. His father was an cricketer, he was born in Pakistan, he is right arm leg break bowler and also he is an all rounder. where he played as a fast bowling all rounder, before moving to England.
Early life
Ahmed was joined Nottinghamshire but later he joined Leicestershire in 2017. At the age of 13 he was already as he is one of the biggest prospect in English cricket having to bowl at England and West Indies. He is youngest debutant to take five wickets in an innings in test match.
Ahmed made his List A debut on 25th July in 2021, for Leicestershire in Royal London one day cup. He was part of England Under- 19 squad for under 19 world cup in 2022. He played just four matches and took as England were runner up to India. Ahmed made his first class debut on 19th May 2022 against Leicestershire in country championships.
International Career
In November 2022, he was added to England squad for the away test against Pakistan team. Ahmed was debut against Pakistan in 2022. Rehan Ahmed is youngest player to took five wickets haul in men test cricket. In February 2023, he was named in England ODI squad and T20I squad for the series against Bangladesh. Rehan Ahmed debut in one day cricket against Bangladesh team and also debut against in t20 cricket against Bangladesh.
