Hasan Mahmud was born in 1999 in Lakshmipur where he grew up with aspirations of becoming a fast bowler and for playing his country. He made his ODI debut against West Indies in 2021 and made his T20I debut against Bangladesh in 2020. He has played for Bangladesh in Under-19 and Under-23 tournaments. He played for Dhaka Platoon, Bangladesh Gemcon Khulna, and Rangpur Riders in his career.
