Ashutosh Sharma Cricket Career
Ashutosh Sharma is a young uncapped Indian batsman. He was born in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. Ashutosh Sharma made his T20 debut for the Madhya Pradesh team in 2018 in the Zonal T20 league. He made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2019 for Madhya Pradesh.
Ashutosh came into highlight when he broke the 16-year-old record of Yuvraj Singh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. He became the fastest to score a half-century in T20 cricket. While playing for Railways he smashed an 11-ball boundary against Arunachal Pradesh. He also became the second fastest to score a half-century in T20 cricket.

In the 2024 IPL auction, he was picked by Punjab Kings on his base price of 20 lakhs. Punjab Kings are lacking a middle-order aggressive batter and he is the one who can fill that hole in their batting lineup. He can also play the role of a finisher when needed.
