Arshdeep Singh is a young Indian international cricketer, who represents Punjab in domestic cricket and plays for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Left-arm medium fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was born on 5 February 1999 in a Sikh family of Guna, Madhya Pradesh. His father Darshan Singh is the Chief Security Officer in DCM.

Arshdeep Singh IPL Career
Punjab Kings had signed Arshdeep Singh for the 2019 IPL season. On 16 April 2019, Arshdeep made his IPL debut against Rajasthan Royals at his home ground Mohali. In which he dismissed two important players of Rajasthan, Ajinkya Rahane and Jos Buttler. In the 2019 season, he played three matches for Punjab and took three wickets. The Punjab franchise retained him in the team before the 2020 IPL auction.
He has played 64 matches in IPL so far. During this period he took 74 wickets with an economy of 9.02. His best bowling spell is 5 wickets for 32 runs.
Arshdeep Singh International Career
In June 2022, Arshdeep Singh was named in India’s ODI and T20I squads for the tour of England. Arshdeep made his T20 International debut against England on 7 July 2022 in Southampton. His first over was a maiden, making him the third Indian to do so in a debut match.
