Akash Deep is an Indian cricketer who was born on 15th December in 1996. He plays for Bengal in Domestic cricket and play for Royal Challenger Bangalore in IPL.
Domestic Career
He made his Twenty20 debut for Bengal in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 9 March 2019. Akash made his List A debut on 24 September 2019, for Bengal in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy against Gujarat and made his first-class debut on 25 December 2019 for Bengal against Andhra Pradesh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy after his incredible performance in Domestic level he was included for RCB squad in second phase of IPL 2021. In 2022 he was bought by RCB team .He played 30 First class matches and took 104 wickets, Akash played 28 List A match and took 42 wickets with 4.82 Economy.
International Career
Akash shown incredible performance in Domestic level got selected in India’s squad for the 2022 Asian Games. In November 2023, he was included in India’s ODI squad for the series against South Africa in South Africa as an injury replacement for Deepak Chahar, but he did not play in any of the matches. In February, 2024 his hard work is Paid off , he has selected for India test squad in upcoming two matches against England.

Personal Career
Akash Deep was born in middle class family,his father Ramji Singh was served as a government school teacher in Bihar’s Sasaram. He faced opposition from his parents and neighbors in Bihar for his passion for playing cricket over academics. At a time when the Bihar Cricket Association was suspended, there was no proper platform for budding cricketers in Bihar to pursue their career prospects in cricket. His wanted from him to appear for government Exam but he has keen interested to cricket. His father and elder brother died all within six months and Akash became the immediate breadwinner for his family.
