The IPL 2023 game between Lucknow Super Giants and Riyal Challengers Bangalore (LSG vs RCB) in Lucknow on Monday was witness to some ugly scenes as RCB star batter Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir had a heated exchange.
Throughout the match, Kohli could be seen being quite animated after the LSG wickets fell. the last time when, LSG and RCB clashed in Bengaluru Gambhir had gestured towards the Bengaluru crowd. It is not clear whether Virat was reacting to that.

But after the match was over, both shook hands. After this, when Virat Kohli shook hands with Naveen-ul-Haq, the matter got a bit heated. The matter got a bit heated between the two. But after a while the matter got a bit too heated. Other players and support staff separated the two. Then, Kohli was seen having a lengthy chat with LSG captain KL Rahul.
Fined 100% Fees
Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have been fined 100 percent of their match fees after their heated exchange following the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday.
“Mr Kohli and Gambhir admitted ro the Level 2 offence under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct,” an IPL media release stated.

Talking about the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs in their Indian Premier League match on Monday. LSG restricted Royal Challengers Bangalore to 126 for nine. In reply, the entire team of LSG got all out for 108 runs in 19.5 overs.
