Sports Desk – On Wednesday, a practice match was played between Australia and West Indies before the ICC World Cup 2019. In this practice match Australia beat West Indies by seven wickets. In this match, Australian captain Aaron Finch won the toss and decided to bowl first. West Indies batsman could only make 229 runs in 46.2 overs. Australia achieved this target by losing three wickets in 38.2 overs.
Australia’s Steve Smith scored 76 runs off 82 balls. Apart from Smith, Finch (42), Shaun Marsh (55 not out) and Maxwell (18 not out) scored runs. But before the World Cup, Australia team got a big shock. Usman Khawaja, who started the innings with captain Finch, was injured at a score of five runs.
Usman Khawaja was injured on his jaw by Andre Russell’s tough bouncer, after which he was taken out of the ground. Usman Khawaja’s jaw has been scanned and the update was that he has not taken any serious injuries and he will be fit for the World Cup.

Australia’s first wicket was in the form of David warner at a total of 47 runs. Finch then led Steve Smith to the team score of 100 runs. On this score, finch got bold on the delivery of Jason Holder. Australia’s third wicket dropped in the form of Smith on a total of 209.
