#5 Brian Lara

In the second ODI at Dhaka of Bangladesh Vs West Indies ODI series. Brian Charles Lara of West Indies played superb innings of 117 runs in 62 balls. However, Lara completed his century in just 45 balls which were the fastest at that time. And if we will talk about it now it is the fifth-fastest in ODIs.

#4 Mark Boucher

In the third ODI of 2006, Zimbabwe Vs South Africa ODI series. Mark Boucher was the wicketkeeper-batsman of South Africa who smashed a knock of 147* off 68 balls. However, Mark completed his century in just 44 balls which is the fourth fastest ODI century till now.

#3 Shahid Afridi

In an ODI match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 1996. Shahid Afridi who was batting all-rounder of Pakistan scored a century in only 37 balls. Which was the fastest for a very long period. Afridi scored 102 runs in 40 balls in that match but it was his century that was the moment of that match. He was also given the player of the match for his knock.

#2 Corey Anderson

In the third ODI of 2014 west Indies tour of New Zealand. Kiwi player Corey Anderson played a superb knock of 131* in 47 balls which helped New Zealand to win the game but he completed his century in only 36 balls which was the second-fastest century in ODIs history. Corey Anderson no longer plays for New Zealand now but he is not a retired player.

#1 AB De Villiers

The superman, Mr 360 degree of cricket will be remembered for a very long period for his innings which he played against West Indies in 2015 at home.  West Indies visited South Africa in 2014-15 and the second ODI at Johannesburg. South Africa was in a very strong position as Amla and De Kock started very well for the proteas. Then came AB De Villiers at No.3 and the superman in pink jersey gave the moments of life to every cricket fan. AB De Villiers smashed a century in just 31 balls which were the fastest in ODIs and cricket’s history. AB De scored 149 runs in that match.
