After the conclusion of the 2024 T20 World Cup, BCCI announced a mouth-watering prize money for the whole Indian team. They announced a total prize money of 125 crores which is to be distributed from players to selectors. BCCI mentioned that they will give each player 5 crore and 2.5 crore for each supporting staff. BCCI announced 5 crores especially for Rahul Dravid as he was the head coach of the team.
According to some reports, Rahul Dravid has refused the 5-crore prize money and wants to have an equal share among coaching staff. Instead of 5 crores, Dravid wants the same bonus money of 2.5 crores as the rest of his support staff.
