The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is being organized by West Indies and America. Not even 2 weeks have passed since the tournament started that many teams are in danger of being out of the World Cup. Many big upsets were seen in the group round, which made the battle to reach the Super-8 even more interesting. There are some teams in every group, which are dependent on other teams.

But it has become very difficult for the four world champion teams to reach the Super-8. Let’s know about these teams –

Pakistan

Pakistan is in Group A. After losing to USA and India in the group stage, Pakistan is almost out of the race for Super 8. Now only luck can help Pakistan to make it to Super 8. Pakistan currently has 2 points in 3 matches.

England

The condition of T20 World Cup champion England is very bad. England has not won a single match in Group B yet. England’s match with Scotland was drawn due to rain, due to which the points were equally divided.

New Zealand

The New Zealand team, which is claiming the World Cup, had to face defeat from Afghanistan and West Indies. Although the Kiwi team still has 2 matches left, its net run-rate is -2.425. If Afghanistan wins one match, then New Zealand will be out of the World Cup.
