In 2011 it was former Indian middle-order batter and a star all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh, who contributed with both bat and ball. He made 362 runs with the bat and took 15 wickets. His incredible all-rounder performance was one of the many reasons for India’s success in 2011.
4. Mitchell Starc – 2015
The 2015 World Cup was of Mitchell Starc, he was in a league of his own in that 2015 World Cup. Throughout the tournament, we saw a bowling masterclass from the left-arm Speedster. He took 22 wickets in the whole tournament and grabbed the Player of the Tournament award.
5. Kane Williamson – 2019
In 2019 it was very unfortunate for New Zealand as they came very close to lifting the World Cup trophy. It was their captain Kane Williamson who was exceptional in the whole tournament. He made 578 runs and took 2 wickets to win the player of the tournament award.
