Nassau County International Cricket Stadium (NCICS) is going to host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The stadium is set to host its inaugural match on June 3. Sri Lanka will face South Africa in the opening match of Group D. Notably, the stadium is also set to host the high-voltage match between India and Pakistan (IND vs PAK) on June 9.
What is the seating capacity of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium?
According to the ICC, the seating capacity of the stadium is 34,000. The temporary grandstands, which were also used for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, will be used again for the T20 World Cup 2024.

The stadium is designed by Populous, a venue architecture firm. The firm also designed the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The T20 World Cup cricket stadium will have multiple seating options including premium and hospitality suites. The stadium will also include a fan zone, a spectacular party deck, as well as infrastructure for match day operations and event presentation and production.
