The ODI World Cup 2023 is to begin on October 5 this year, hosted by India. The final of the tournament will be played on 19 November. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its new schedule. Under this, there have been changes in 9 matches including the India-Pakistan match.
The match between India and Pakistan will now be played a day earlier i.e. on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad instead of 15th. Including this, the schedule of 9 matches has been changed.
October 15 will be the first day of Navratri. For this reason this match has been rescheduled. But with this another match of Pakistan team to be held on October 12 will be changed. This match is to be against Sri Lanka, which will now be played in Hyderabad on October 10 instead of 12.
Apart from this, the match between Pakistan and England to be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on November 12 will be held a day earlier i.e. on November 11 at the same ground. This match has been changed due to Kali Puja.
