England’s left-arm fast bowler Reece Topley bowled the fourth most expensive spell in the history of the league. In a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024, Reece Topley was playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Topley gave 68 runs off his 4 overs spell in one of the most haunted grounds for bowlers, Chinnaswamy stadium of Bengaluru.

#3 Yash Dayal against KKR

Yash Dayal plays for RCB in ipl2024 but he was first picked by Gujarat Titans in their team when they bought him in the auction. He was doing well for GT until the match against KKR happened in Ahmedabad. In IPL 2023, KKR was chasing a high score target given by GT, Dayal went for 69 runs in his 4 overs spell where 30 runs came off his last over and Rinku Singh won the match for KKR.

Basil Thampi is an Indian right arm medium fast bowler who played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2018. In a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Chinnaswamy, Basil Thampi was smashed for the second most expensive spell in the history of the league. He gave 70 runs off his 4 overs spell and took no wicket in his bowling. It was a nightmare match for Thampi against RCB.

#1 Mohit Sharma against DC

Mohit Sharma is one of the biggest reasons behind GT’s success in IPL. He was a net bowler until GT picked him and included him in their playing 11. He is still a good bowler but a bad day can come to anybody and that bad day came against Delhi Capitals for Mohit Sharma. He became a bowler who bowled the most expensive spell in the history of IPL as he gave 73 runs off his 4 overs spell against Delhi in Arun Jaitley stadium in IPL 2024.
