IPL 2022 group stages are over and what a season we had. It was for the first time when 10 teams were played in the IPL. Two months-long seasons now finally concluded. We saw exceptional performances from some players and in this article, we will make the best playing 11 from the group stages of IPL 2022.

Our top order is comprised of Jos Buttler, KL Rahul, and Rahul Tripathi. It was Jos Buttler’s best IPL season of his career. In group stages, he smashed three centuries and three half-centuries and managed to keep that orange cap throughout the league stages.
Jos made 629 runs in league stages. Our second opener is none other than the new Mr. Consistent, KL Rahul who was also the captain of Lucknow Supergiants. Rahul also scored two centuries in group stages and scored 537 runs in group stages. Our No.3 is not a big star but he is an uncapped Indian player, Rahul Tripathi who played for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. Tripathi scored 413 runs in league stages and there was no other better No.3 than him.
At No.4 we have one of the biggest surprises of this tournament, Hardik Pandya who impressed everybody with his all-around performance and also with his captaincy. Pandya is captain of our team and he made 413 runs and took 4 wickets in the group stages. At 5 we have Punjab’s Liam Livingston who was the best entertainer of this season. He also smashed the longest six of this season.
He scored 437 runs in group stages. At 6 we have Andre Russell whose tournament was ups and downs but still, he concluded it well. Russell made 335 runs and took 17 wickets in league stages. Talking about the finisher, Dinesh Karthik was exceptional for RCB throughout this tournament. Karthik turned impossible games in RCB’s favour. Karthik scored 287 runs with a strike rate of 191.33 which is very impressive.
Talking about bowlers only spinner in our team is none other than the purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal who also took a hattrick this season. Chahal took 26 wickets in group stages.
Now we have our three fast bowlers and they are Kagiso Rabada who bowled quite well this season and took 23 wickets in the group stages. Second is Mohammad Shami who was very impressive in powerplay overs with the new ball and took 18 wickets this season. Our last fast bowler is none other than the most talked-about star of this IPL, Umran Malik who also bowled the fastest ball of this IPL. Umran took 22 wickets this season.
