Joe Root is biggest asset of English batting line up. He has scored 29 & 2 of both innings as Root also contributed to team by his bowling as he claimed 4 for 79 and 1 for 41 in first test in Hyderabad. Root leave the field after suffering an injury to his right little finger while he was fielding in slip on day 3 of second test against India.
This incident was happened in 18th over of India second innings when root attempt to catch an edge from Subhman gill in the slip. Update from England team managed stated that Root sustained an external blow to his right finger as medical team keep him monitoring for long time off field to give medicine and ice.
At this moment there is no indication of when he would be return to the field.
