After suffering from so many injury problems in the 2023 season, Delhi Capitals will hope to play with their full potential this season. Delhi’s top order looks very destructive and balanced. Their openers are David Warner who is one of the most experienced and successful batsmen in the history of the league and Prithvi Shaw who always provides a strong start to Delhi in the powerplay. At No.3 they have Australia’s potential future T20 captain, Mitchell Marsh.
In their middle order, they have their captain Rishabh Pant who will make his comeback in cricket after 14 months. At No.5 they have their newest addition Harry Brook of England. Their finishers are not looking promising as in that batting position they have young Kumar Kushagra and Axar Patel who is a fantastic spin all-rounder and wicket-taker.
In bowling, they have a spin duo of Axar Patel and one of the best spinners in India Kuldeep Yadav. After missing the previous season South Africa’s pace sensation Anrich Nortje is available for this season. In the Indian pace department, they have left arm Khaleel Ahmed and Indian team member Mukesh Kumar.
