Punjab Kings has been part of the IPL from the first season, yet they have never won a single title. Their biggest achievement in the league was the runner-up title when they played the final of the 2014 season. It is now a very high time for owners and management to think seriously and to build a strong squad for IPL 2025. In this article, we will tell you all the possible options for the captaincy of Punjab Kings in IPL 2025.

The Punjab Kings have always disappointed their fans. They always come with a big purse but they always fail to build a strong core for their team. Their leadership is the most unstable thing in their team. In IPL 2024 they finished 9th on the table. They always hope for some miracle to save them. Shikhar Dhawan was given captaincy of the team but he was not fit for the whole tournament, Sam Curran was asked to lead the side which caused instability in the team. This was the story for them for the past two years.

Owners are now looking to change their captain and the first person who comes to mind is Sam Curran who has done the job for them. There are chances of them to go all out for Shubman Gill if Gujarat releases him in the auction and if Punjab manages to get him, they will make him their captain. there are also chances that they can go for KL Rahul again as Rahul has captained Punjab Kings before.
