Sports Desk – Harbhajan Singh has become the second Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player to pull out of the IPL 2020. The senior off-spinner has informed the franchise that he would not be travelling to the UAE, where the IPL will be played from September 19, due to personal reasons.
In a statement on his Twitter, Harbhajan Singh specified “personal reasons” for why he was pulling out and said the franchise had been “extremely supportive”.
He is the second CSK player to withdraw from the tournament after Suresh Raina.

It is noteworthy that due to increasing coronavirus cases in India, the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) should be UAE from 19 September. Harbhajan informed the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team about his decision on Friday. He was scheduled to join the Chennai Super Kings on September 1, but his move to UAE was postponed once again.
