Sports Desk- The match No. 40 of the ICC World Cup 2019 was played between India and Bangladesh at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Virat Kohli-led India defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs to confirm their place in the last four of the elite competition. Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma scored another century. The 32-year-old had a record-fest outing with the bat as he went on to score his fourth World Cup 2019 century to get on level terms with Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara.
Virat Kohli & Co suffered a lost against England in their last match, which was the first defeat of the tournament. At the same venue, Edgbaston, on Tuesday, the two-time champions will look to get over that English lost and qualify for the knockouts before entering their last league match.
