Sports Desk- Team Indian departed from mumbai international airport for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which will be held in England and Wales from May 30. The 15-member squad boarded the flight from Mumbai. Team India will be playing their first match against South Africa on 5 June. But before that Team India will also play two warm-up matches against New Zealand and Bangladesh. This is the big tournament will be held from May 20 to July 14 in England and Wales.
Virat Kohli, the Indian Captain and head Coach Ravi Shastri addressed the media ahead of Team India’s departure to participate in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 that is slated to begin on May 30 in England and Wales. “We expect all kind of scores in the World Cup, but there would be few high scoring games looking at the predictions,” Virat Kohli added. “If we play up to our potential the ICC World Cup will be here,” coach Ravi Shastri said.
