Sports Desk- The wives of Team India’s cricketers are often in the news. But these days the wife of a cricketer is very angry. Sushmita Roy of West Bengal cricketer Manoj Tiwary is very angry. Actually, Sushmita is angry at Manoj Tiwari being included in the top flop players.
Tiwary’s wife Susmita recently took to Instagram to slam the right-hand batsman’s critics after he was included in an XI of flop Indian cricketers by a fan page. Susmita gave a piece of her mind to the owner of the account titled ‘IPL Freak’.
Injuries have also played a role in Tiwary being in and out of the Indian squad. As a result, he has played just 12 ODIs and three T20Is since his international debut in February 2008. After making his India debut in 2008, Tiwary scored a match-winning unbeaten 104 against West Indies in December 2011 in Chennai. He was subsequently dropped from the team.
He continued to play his trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he had a fruitful season for now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017 before he was roped in by Kings XI Punjab in 2018. However, the Bengal batsman was released by Kings XI Punjab ahead of the player auction in 2019 and he went unsold.
