- Virat Kohli (75 innings): Virat Kohli is indeed the second-fastest Indian player to reach 3,000 ODI runs by innings. King Kohli achieved this milestone in 75 innings during a match against Sri Lanka in the 2012 Commonwealth Bank series in Adelaide. - Sourav Ganguly (82 innings): Sourav Ganguly is the 5th fastest Indian player to reach 3,000 ODI runs by innings is accurate. He achieved this milestone in his 82nd inning during India’s 1999 tour against New Zealand. Ganguly’s career spanned from 1992 to 2007, during which he scored a total of 11,363 runs in 311 ODIs.
