ICC gives ‘average’ rating to Ahmedabad pitch

ICC also gave average ratings to pitches used in matches between, India Vs England in Lucknow, India Vs Pakistan in Ahmedabad, and India Vs South Africa in Kolkata. The pitches used in all these matches were slow and they are also different from the other pitches of the tournament. the 2023 World Cup saw many batting records being broken and it was a World Cup that favoured batsmen more than the bowlers.
