Sports Desk – Team India defeated the visiting team West Indies by 6 wickets on Friday. India won the match with 8 balls remaining thanks to the brilliant innings of captain Virat Kohli (94) and KL Rahul (64). ‘Man of the match’ Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 94 in his innings with the help of 6 fours and 6 sixes in 50 balls. But during his innings, Virat Kohli was very much discussed.
During the superlative knock, Kohli even mocked Kesrick Williams by imitating his “notebook” celebration after hitting him for a six.
InIn reaction to Kohli’s match-winning knock and his mock celebration, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to recreate his famous dialogue from the film ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’.
Kohli thanked Big g for his post, saying the legendary actor was “always an inspiration”.
Actually, when Kohli was asked that he also follows CPL, he said that it is not so. Kesrick Williams gave me this notebook after I was dismissed in Jamaica (July 2017). I remembered that thing so I did it. However, after the match we shook hands with each other. I believe that play competitive cricket and respect the opposition.
Let the visiting team bat first, set a mammoth target of 207 runs in front of India in the scheduled 20 overs. In response, India won the match with 8 balls remaining in the innings of Kohli and Rahul.
Haha love the dialogue Sir. You’re always an inspiration. ??
