  • In 2008 award was given to Sri Lankan legend Sanath Jayasuriya for his 31 sixes in 14 matches for Mumbai Indians.
  • In 2009 it was Adam Gilchrist who won the award for Deccan Chargers for his 29 sixes in 16 matches.
  • In 2010 it was Indian batsmen Robin Uthappa who won the award for his 27 sixes in 16 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
  • In 2011 it was again an RCB player who won this award and this time it was Chris Gayle for his 44 sixes in only 12 matches.
  • In 2012 it was again Chris Gayle who won the award and in 2012 he broke all the records of sixes and he smashed 59 sixes in 15 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
  • In 2013 Gayle made hattrick of this award and won the award for the third consecutive time. Again, for RCB, Gayle won this award for his 51 sixes in 16 matches.
  • In 2014 Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell won the award for Punjab Kings for his 36 sixes in 16 matches.
  • In 2015, Chris Gayle again came into highlights and won the award for the fourth time for RCB for his 38 sixes in 14 matches.
  • In the 2016 award went again to the RCB camp and this time it was not Chris Gayle but the captain himself Virat Kohli for his 38 sixes in 16 matches.
  • In 2017 it was again Glenn Maxwell who won the award for the second time for Punjab Kings for his 36 sixes in 14 matches.
  • In 2018 it was youngster Rishabh Pant who won the award for Delhi Capitals for his 37 sixes in 14 matches.
  • In the 2019 award went to KKR camp and it was Andre Russell who won the award. Russell smashed 52 sixes in 14 matches.
  • In 2020 It was young Ishan Kishan who won the award for Mumbai Indians for his 30 sixes in 13 matches.
  • In 2021 it was Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul who won the award for his 30 sixes in 13 matches.
