ICC released a new award in 2021 which is known as the ICC men’s player of the month award. The award is given to the best performer of the month. In this article, we will see all ICC men’s player of the month winners in 2022.
- January – in January award was given to South African batsman, Keegan Petersen for his outstanding batting display against India in the test series at home.
- February – in February award was given to Indian middle-order batsman, Shreyas Iyer for his three consecutive half-centuries in T20Is against Sri Lanka.
- March – in March award was given to Pakistan captain, Babar Azam for his brilliant batting display against Australia.
- April – Keshav Maharaj of South Africa won the award in April month.
- May – in May Sri Lankan veteran, Angelo Matthews won the award for his batting in test format.
- June – in June award was won by Jonny Bairstow for his test performances in England against New Zealand and India.
- July – July is the first month in which the award was won by a fast bowler, Prabath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka.
- August – in July month award was won by Zimbabwe all-rounder, Sikandar Raza who had a dream year.
- September – in September award was won by the second Pakistani player, Mohammad Rizwan.
- October – October month was of Indian legend, Virat Kohli for his brilliant performances in the Asia cup and T20 world cup.
- November – in November, Jos Buttler won the award for his captaincy. It was a dream year for Buttler as he made England T20 world champions.
- December – another English player, Harry Brook won the award in December for his outstanding batting for his country.
