World T20 had also some of its memorable moments and we are here with top 5 of them.
5. Chris Gayle’s century in inaugural T20 World Cup 2007 match
In first match of 2007 T20 world cup Chris Gayle of West Indies scores a century against South Africa at Wanderers Johannesburg. He played a 117 runs knock in 57 balls. Also, he opened his innings with a four on first ball of T20 world cup. He was totally on the South African legend Shaun Pollock, he smashed 44 runs in 14 balls to Pollock. Gayle gave a dream start to the world cup.
4. Mohammad Amir’s last over against Australia in 2010
During a group stage match between Australia and Pakistan at St. Lucia there was something unexpected happened. After winning the toss Australia decided to bat first and they were 191 on five wickets at the end of 19th over but than came Pakistan’s young fast bowler Mohammad Amir in to bowl his last over.

He than created a history as he sends whole Australian team back at pavilion there were 5 wickets fallen in 20th over in which 3 were taken by Amir and 2 got run out but what a magical over it was.
3. West Indies celebration in 2012 and 2016
When it comes to entertainment in cricket, West Indies players are favourite. Their unique and different ways of celebration made them crowd favourites. In 2012 world cup at Sri Lanka west Indies players came with an entertaining celebration in which they dance at Korean song “Gangnam Style” and it was started by the opener batsman Chris Gayle. When they won the final against the home team, they celebrated their victory on that song and their wicket keeper Ramdin does the cartwheels. Even during the trophy ceremony, they were celebrating with Chris Gayle doing the push ups and his teammates were cheering for him.
Not only in 2012 but also in 2016 they came with a champion song by DJ Bravo who is one other than best T20 all rounder of West Indies and they lifted the trophy in 2016 as well.
2. 6 Sixes in an over, 2007
During a match between England and India in 2007 inaugural ICC T20 world cup Yuvraj Singh smashed 6 massive sixes in an over to Stuart Broad. Let’s talk about it briefly, India won the toss and Dhoni decided to bat first. India was scoring runs at a rate of 9 runs per over than comes the 19th over of Stuart Broad and the batsman who was facing the Broad was none other than destructive batsman Yuvraj Singh who was already in a mood to smash England as just an over before he engaged in a fight with Andrew Flintoff.
Yuvraj Singh was on verge to take the revenge and he choose Stuart Board to calm his anger he smashed 6 sixes to Stuart all over the ground of Durban and scored a half century as well in just 12 balls which is still a record of fastest century in any format.
1. First and last bowl out in the history of cricket
In a group match between the arch rivals of the game, India and Pakistan. Match ended with a draw but it was not the super over to decide the winner it was the bowl out to decide the winner. It was for the first time that a bowl out was happening in which the team with most number of hits on wickets out of five will win.
Already it was a high-pressure game and a unique tiebreaker for the first time in cricket was taking place. From India Shewag, Uthappa, Pathan, Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh were five players to bowl and it was Gul, Tanvir, Afridi, Asif and Arafat for Pakistan. Shewag, Harbhajan and Uthappa for India hits the stumps and Arafat, Gul and Afridi missed the stumps and India won the first and last bowl out in T20 format.
