Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal for his 89.45m throw in the Javelin Throw event at the Paris Olympics 2024.
The is the coach of our country’s hero, Uwe Hohn, the person behind Neeraj’s incredible success in recent years. Neeraj threw the javelin 87.6 m away but his coach had thrown the javelin to a distance of 104.6 m in 1984, and because of him, the design of the javelin was later changed.

In 1986, a new and slightly lighter modified javelin started being used in place of the old javelin. That record of Uwe Hohn has remained unbreakable. However, that record has been officially considered to be over.
