Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal for his 89.45m throw in the Javelin Throw event at the Paris Olympics 2024.

The is the coach of our country’s hero, Uwe Hohn, the person behind Neeraj’s incredible success in recent years. Neeraj threw the javelin 87.6 m away but his coach had thrown the javelin to a distance of 104.6 m in 1984, and because of him, the design of the javelin was later changed.

Its center of gravity was shifted 4 cm forward so that it could travel a little less distance because if this was not done, there would have been a risk of the javelin hitting the spectators and sports officials sitting in the javelin pavilion.

In 1986, a new and slightly lighter modified javelin started being used in place of the old javelin. That record of Uwe Hohn has remained unbreakable. However, that record has been officially considered to be over.

Although it was a technical reason, due to which his record is not counted, this does not reduce the greatness of that player, and that is why this greatest javelin thrower was chosen as the coach of India’s Olympic athletes.

Similarly, all our Olympian players are getting the best facilities and training in the world…

Some people may feel bad to hear this, but what is true is true. Now the Kalmadi Raj in the Olympic Committee has ended, and the new Sports Authority and the government are doing a good job.

But instead of improving the game, many players are taking advantage of this facility like non-serious fools. Now when the Olympics are going to end without a gold or maybe with just one gold for India, such news is breaking our hearts.

People want to compare all these games with cricket. Prithvi Shaw, Ishan Kishan are all sitting at home after being found indiscipline. Iyer was not given a national contract.
