A year to remember for Travis Head

Australian left-handed aggressive batsman, Travis Head is the 10^th most searched person on Google in India. It has been a very special year for the Australian southpaw. Head made many memorable moments in 2023 and in this article, we will tell you all the great things Head achieved in 2023.

Travis Head in 2023

1. In the 2023 World Test Championship final against India at Oval, England. Travis Head played a very sensational knock which named him the player of the match in the finals. Head came to bat with Smith and completed the job in the first innings for Australia.
2. He won the WTC 2023 title with Australia and played a very important role for them in the whole two-year cycle. It was his first ICC trophy in 2023.
3. He got injured before the 2023 World Cup but the Australian team did not announce his replacement. He did a very fine job for his team in the semifinals against South Africa at Kolkata. He was the man of the match in the semifinals.
4. In the second knockout game which was the final against a very strong team, India. He made a brilliant hundred while chasing and getting his team to victory. He was again awarded with Man of the Match award for his innings.
5. The fifth achievement for him this year is he won the ICC men’s ODI World Cup in India. The head came in halfway through the tournament but he made the most out of it with his impactful innings.
6. He was also named the ICC Player of the Month of November 2023 for his comeback in the side and his innings in knockout matches of the World Cup.
7. Year is about to end but not the Head’s achievements. In the upcoming home test series against Pakistan, Travis Head is announced as the vice-captain of the test side.
