Vitinha recently spoke about the GOAT debate and he doesn’t seem ‘biased’ in his statement

Vitinha, a Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) midfielder, recently revealed his thoughts on the much-debated Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi debate.

Vitinha played alongside Messi at the Paris club and is a Portugal teammate of Ronaldo. As a result, he is one of the rare players who has played alongside both modern-day legends.

In response to the hotly debated matter, the Portuguese midfielder stated (via O Jogo Portugal): “[laughs] You really didn’t think I was going to answer that question, did you? It’s what I always say and it’s not a bigotry, it’s really a sincere answer: they’re two separate players, they’re two extraterrestrials, if that’s what we can call it. I’m privileged, I’m one of the few who managed to play with both at the same time. That just allows me, there it is, to be privileged and, one day, tell my grandchildren that I could play with both of them and learn a lot, both with one and the other.”

Who Does Didier Drogba Consider Better?

Didier Drogba, a Chelsea star, delivered a firm reaction on the matter, saying that Ronaldo being better is a reality that some find difficult to accept. Drogba, who faced the Portuguese in the Premier League, told MARCA:

“Everybody knows Ronaldo is better than Messi, not just me. But not everyone can admit it.”

Despite being in their late 30s, both players continue to light up the world of football. It’s difficult to assume that the debate over who is superior will end very soon. Fans must appreciate it for as long as the duo plays the lovely game.
