Liverpool are in talks with PSG about a spectacular loan deal for Kylian Mbappe.
PSG are furious that Mbappe declined to speak with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia after the French champions accepted their world record-breaking £259 million deal. They are also concerned that Mbappe may leave for free in a year to join Real Madrid.
Liverpool are ready to offer Mbappe a one-year loan contract, which will get him out of Paris, generate revenue for PSG, and allow the 24-year-old forward to complete his dream move to Real Madrid.
The Reds have been buoyed by Mbappe’s admiration for the club, as well as the fact that his mother, Fayza Lamari, who is also his agent, is a die-hard Kop supporter.

“We talked a little bit, but not too much,” Mbappe told the Telegraph last year. “We talked a little bit. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.”
Things heated up after Mbappe referred to PSG as a “divisive club” in an interview with France Football magazine. When asked if he believed his performances for PSG had been minimized, Mbappe replied, “Yes, but at the same time, I don’t blame them.
“In France, they saw me grow up, they see me all the time, at PSG every weekends or in selection. I’ve been scoring a lot for years. So, for people, it’s becoming normal. I’ve never complained that my performances are trivialised.

“We are in a consumer society, where ‘it’s good, but do again’. I think playing at Paris Saint-Germain doesn’t help much because it’s a divisive team, a divisive club. So, of course, it attracts gossip but it doesn’t bother me because I know what I’m doing and how I do it.”
