Here we show you the squad Germany announced for the upcoming FIFA World Cup

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is going to start from November 20 and the coaches have started to announce their national teams’ squad.

Germany’s head coach Hansi Flick has named their official squad for the tournament. His 26-man squad surprisingly include six forwards indicating is clear mindset of a high-pressing and attacking strategy.

Mario Gotze was the guy who scored the winning goal for Germany in the 2014 World Cup final against Argentina. He has made a comeback to the national team after returning to the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt this season.

“Mario Gotze is there. 2017 was the last time. Mario is totally happy and so are we to have him. It gives us many options,” Flick told in an interview.

Marco Reus had already missed the 2014 World Cup and now he is injured again. It’s sad to announce that he will not be going to Qatar to play for Germany.

“He tried everything to catch this train. It hurts us because we could have used his quality,” Flick said.

Leory Sane and Serge Gnabry – Germany has got two of the best wingers in the world, not to mention one of the fastest duos of the generation. They are going to create problems for wing backs in the upcoming tournament.

Kai Havertz – Chelsea’s striker will have the very responsibility of scoring goals in the World Cup for Germany. Let us tell you that he was one of the players who won the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League title.

Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka – Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich is undoubtedly one of the greatest midfielders on this generation. Moreover, he will have the support of another fantastic player Leon Goretzka.
