On 26 March 2013, Krunal made his T20 debut against Bengal while playing for the Baroda team. He could not perform well in the opening matches. Krunal did not get any wickets, while Hardik took one wicket. Krunal also struggled in batting. He scored just 12 runs off 11 balls.
