Manchester City’s new third kit is probably the worst kit ever made
Manchester City have dropped their new third kit designed by Puma and fans think this is the worst kit they have ever seen. The supporters are very disappointed with the club.
Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden have featured in the promotional material for the third kit. City’s third kit gives a more traditional look as the club’s crest has moved from the front of the shirt to underneath the collar on the back.
The sponsors Etihad Airways are placed under the club’s name, with the Puma logo now above the capitalized ‘Man City’ on the front.
City’s moto for the third kit is meant to reimagine the “traditional football kit in a brand-new approach [by] merging football and streetwear culture.”
Let’s take a look at some comments made by fans on Twitter.
One of the fans savagely said that looked “more like a top from Primark.” Some fans called it so “awful” and more like a “training kit”.
One fan tweeted: “That might be the worst kit I’ve ever seen.”
Another fan made a complete joke of the kit: “Paolo Maldini and [Alessandro] Nesta can’t even defend that.”
Others claimed that the kit looks more like a “FIFA eSports Kit” while another user posted that “no one could ever pay a regular price for it”.
