Neymar is ready to give his number 10 jersey to Lionel Messi
Neymar will reunite with Leo Messi if the transfer negotiations are successful. He has offered his number 10 shirt to his former teammate.
PSG is pursuing Messi at their fullest as they have entered talks with the player’s entourage ahead of a blockbuster summer transfer.
The French club want to sign Messi and so does Neymar. The 29 year old has played with Messi for four seasons at Barcelona before leaving for Paris in 2017.
The Brazilian is doing his very best to pursue the Argentine to the Parc des Princes this summer. However according to the reports, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner has turned down Neymar’s offer.
Some fans are still thinking about Messi’s comeback at the Camp Nou but Barca president Joan Laporte has cleared the confusion.
He said: “The club has over 100 years of history and is above any player, even the best in history, to whom we will be eternally grateful.
“Above players, managers and presidents, Barca will always be above them.
“I said we’d do everything possible to keep Messi at Barça within the economic situation of club
“We reached agreement but couldn’t formalise it, because of the club’s economic situation, which means we can’t register the player due to salary limits.
“I don’t want to go on and on about the situation we inherited, and the awful decisions that were made in the past. We have gone from bad to worse.”
