The consistency Toni Kroos is possessing is so amazing to see
Toni Kroos is one of the best midfielders in the world and probably will be one of the greatest by the time of his retirement.
He is really an underrated player if seen through his trophies contribution. He really wins at least one trophy every year since the start of his career.
Kroos longevity:
- 11 years ago – 17 G/A as a teenager in Bundesliga
- 8 years ago – Won a treble with Bayern
- 7 years ago – Won a World Cup
- 5 years ago – Won the first of his UCL three-peat
He has won three UEFA Champions league titles (2015, 2016, 2017) in a row with Real Madrid. How could this guy be not called the best midfielder at present?
Most importantly, he has won a FIFA World Cup trophy for his national side. He had a great contribution in Germany’s World Cup victory.
He has all of it that a midfielder needs to possess – vision, defending, accuracy, shooting, passing, stamina. He just lacks a little pace which isn’t so necessary when you are a great baller.
On Sunday, Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1. Kroos was the one who scored the second goal. He scored an amazing freekick from just outside the box. Benzema scored the first goal in the match.
