Pep congratulated Bayern Munich over their Club World Cup victory

Bayern Munich defeated Tigres UANL 1-0 to become world champions. Bayern won their 6th title in a row to equal Barcelona’s record.

Only Bayern and Barcelona are the two teams to win ‘Six Pack’ of titles in a row. Barcelona did it before Bayern in 2010.

Pep Guardiola, Barca’s former manager was the one who led them to achieve this record in 2010. Pep congratulated and praised Bayern after they equaled Barca’s record.

“Big congratulations to all the Bayern family for this incredible success, to be the Club World Cup champions and especially to win six titles. We are so proud, I am so proud, a big congratulations for everyone, especially Hansi (Flick), the players and the backroom staff for this amazing thing.

But, I would like to say to Hansi that you are the second team to win the six titles in a row! Before you, there was another team, Barcelona. So, maybe I can call Messi and company and we can play for the seventh title? Tell me when and where and we will be there!”

Pep included his love for Messi in his statement which made Barca fans happy as they remembered the happiest days Pep gave them when he was Barca’s manager.

Congratulations to Bayern Munich for their incredible victory.
